Emu Creek post office, 16 km from Clifton, opened on 1 November 1877. It was renamed Greenmount on 1 January 1879, then Greenmount Railway Siding on 21 August 1901 before reverting back to Greenmount in February 1910

Commonwealth Barred Numeral Type 2a (7 mm) on a stamp first issued in 1930, so suspect. Seen at Phoenix auction no 36 lot no 542

Southbrook Commonwealth Barred Numeral Type 2a (7 mm) and dated 14 March 1933. Seen in a private collection. Why it was used in Southbrook is unclear. Manning has also seen this numeral used in Toowoomba on 28 August 1930. The mystery deepens. The cancel is genuine but its usage probably is not!
