253 - Thompson's Flat / Eaton / Gunalda / Toogoolawah

Thompson's Flat post office, 30 km north of Gympie, opened on 18 August 1877 and closed on 31 August 1882. It moved to Eaton on 1 September 1882 and was renamed Gunalda on 28 May 1883. It was reduced to a receiving office on 6 November 1890 before being again elevated to a post office on 1 December 1892
