49 - Canal Creek

Canal Creek post office, 45 km west of Warwick, opened on 1 December 1865. It was reduced to a receiving office on 4 January 1890 and closed in September 1907. Manning is of the opinion that the Canal Creek and Ten Mile Rush post offices were one and the same.
