52 - Mungindi

Mungindi Post Office, 87 km east south east of Dirranbandi. The post office opened on the New South Wales side of the border on 1 September 1865 and the town was transferred to New South Wales administration on 1 April 1867 it continued to use the numeral 52 Queensland canceller. It closed in 1877

A new Mungindi post office opened on the Queensland side of the border in 1880. The original numeral 52 Queensland canceller appears to have continued in use in the NSW post office. It was reduced to a receiving office around 1902 and closed around October 1905
